About SDS - Syrian Druze Society

Syrian Druze Society in South Australia (SDS) is a non profit organisation aims

To advocate for the welfare of the Syrian Druze community in South Australia
To promote co-operation between Syrian Druze community in South Australia and to develop policies of goodwill and harmony
To strengthen co-operation amongst Australian and Australians of Syrian Druze background
To promote Syrian Druze community in south Australia and abroad
To promote education advice as well as health and medical advice for the Syrian Druze community and abroad
To provide various programs for new arrivals of Syrian Druze into the country
To develop other services that will be beneficial to Syrian Druze community in South Australia and abroad
To seek assistance both financial and other for the promotion of Syrian Druze community in south Australia
To participate in community activities and other community organisations
To publish non-commercial, promotional magazines and other cultural resources
To not become involved in political activities outside of Australia
To apply the assets and income of the society solely in furtherance of its objects and purposes and no portion thereof shall be distributed directly or indirectly to its members except as bona fide compensation for services rendered or expenses incurred on behalf of the society
